FCC SDoC – Responsible Party Services
For the FCC Supplier's Declaration of Conformity (SDoC) process, the Responsible Party must be located within the United States. Companies based outside the US are required to designate a US-based agent to fulfill this role.
Test Design Japan acts as your US Responsible Party, managing all FCC documentation and communications on your behalf.
FCC 22-84 – US Local Agent Services
Under rules adopted by the FCC in February 2023 (FCC 22-84), designating a US-based local agent is now mandatory for the equipment authorization process.
The US agent is responsible for representing the equipment manufacturer or importer in all interactions with the FCC regarding the authorization and approval of devices.
Scope of Services
- FCC SDoC Responsible Party registration and representation
- US Local Agent services under FCC 22-84
- US Record-Keeping Agent under FCC Part 2.911(d)(7)
- Handling all FCC communications and correspondence
- Support for test reports and technical documentation
